The mission of NW Women's Directory is celebrating, supporting and promoting the endeavors of women in our community. As the only listing of women in business in the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area, they are dedicated to connecting women in our community.
WEO’s mission is to provide tools for success for women in business. Their objective is to offer education, networking, and mentoring opportunities. They value initiative, integrity, diversity, growth, humor, and the sharing of strengths.
Founded on the belief that when a woman succeeds, a company succeeds, NAFE empowers its members to achieve success and financial security. It is also the single largest resource for companies to recruit diverse professional women in the United States, with more than 125,000 businesswomen and 200 affiliated NAFE networks nationwide.
NAFE offers education, sources for capital, potential business alliances, training programs, career opportunities, and public advocacy through a supportive network.
Portland Mamas Inc. is a relatively new local resource and networking organization for mom entrepreneurs. They focus is on building community among women who deal with the challenges and triumphs of being both business owner and mother. They hold monthly meetings, playdates, mamas night outs, and special events in addition to our online Blog, private Forum and newsletters.
The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is the only national nonprofit organization that represents all women business owners. NAWBO has 79 chapters throughout the U.S. and is affiliated internationally in 23 countries with the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs.
The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), is the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations. It also is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States.
Dedicated to enhancing opportunities for women's business enterprises, WBENC works in partnership with women's business organizations located throughout the country to provide a national standard of certification for women-owned businesses.
